tomorrow night in allston
This was last night. Such awesome vibes! Met a lot of cool people. Between this and the Pellytwins-presented show at 285 Kent in Brooklyn later this week, I am starting to feel re-energized re: show booking. I was feeling kinda “over it” for a month or so, but this week has made me stoked for show I’m putting together in July/August.
Hey you guys, I booked this show happening in Allston tomorrow night. The full line-up is Earthquake Party, Big Eyes, the Scamps, the Clippers, and Boo Radley (Sarah from Quilty solo). It’s part of a monthly showcase I book, where each show has some bands from Boston and some bands from New York.
Tomorrow night is the third installment of my new-ish monthly showcase at Great Scott. The idea behind these shows is to have two bands from NYC and two bands from Boston on each date, but with SXSW and traveling and all, things got kind of crazy and this was put together really last minute. So no NYC bands on this one. I think this is one of the greatest last-minute rosters of Boston bands that could have come together, though. Stoked to see each of these sets! More info here. <3.
